Poseidon V4.1 update for Subway, Highway, Algor and Deneb available

A new update of Poseidon is available today. It  can  be  downloaded  using Trident online update or from my website http://www.platon42.de

Starting from V4.0, Poseidon is no longer  keyfile  bound  --  it  is  only
licenced to E3B hardware (and MorphOS). You cannot upgrade Poseidon to V4.x for using it with the  Spider,  Amithlon  or  Thylacine,  so  please  don't attempt to do so, I will not provide the legacy archives for downgrading.

Users of E3B hardware can may upgrade for free to this latest version. This includes  Subway,  Highway,  Algor  and Deneb users, no matter if they were using an old Poseidon V2.x or V3.x release. No keyfile is required.

Thanks, Chris. This update combined with the recent update(s) Matthew made to EasyNet just got me up and running with one of my Denebs and USB-to-LAN converters. Now I'm off to get the same setup working on another Miggy...

Was that on your A4000?  If it is, I'd be interested to know what hardware you used and the settings for Easynet.

Yeah that was on the 4000, but I just got the same thing working on a 2000, too. I ordered two of these...

I'll be happy to share settings and install steps with you if you get one of these. Can't beat the price of the LAN adapter if you've already got the Deneb.

My 3000 will keep it's X-Surf, and now I am free to remove my other X-Surf from the 4000 and plug it into my 2500. My 1200 has a Netgear wireless PCMCIA card from Amigakit. Next project.... get up and running with file sharing.
