Porting for Profit - Week #24 2008
« on: June 15, 2008, 08:50:02 PM »
Here's a little round-up on what we in Porting for Profit has been up to lately.
This might be a reoccuring thingie if you guys want that. So without further ado, here the report for Week #24 - 2008.

Maze of Galious

Maze of Galious - A fantastic remake of Konami's old MSX game with the same name. The remake is done by
Brain Games. One of the better platform games for OS4 yet is you ask us!

Mole Invasion

Mole Invasion another platformer that looks and plays very similiar to
Super Tux. Not as good as Maze of Galious, but it might be worth a look
if you are bored, your kids might like it.

PangOS4

Pang is back to kick ass on modern Amigas! We bet that many of you, like us wasted countless of quarters in the arcades
on the original Pang, and then later countless of hours infront of the Amiga500 version! It's time to waste hours again folks!

Get them all on OS4Depot and don't forget to check out Spot's new porting blog, that he is currently building, as soon as
all ports are added he will post some port related stuff. The blog is located here!

Pang is a great game. Plus, I don't see you doing much development for the Amiga. Perhaps you'd like to correct me there?

It's not even the A500 version, unless you believe the A500 version was written using SDL.

no i am not a troll, i am just fed up of all the arsekissing and "god" treatment, of everyone that program/port anything to the amiga. if you first of all are gonna program/port anything to the amiga. do something that is gonna be usefull and are needed, he do it for profit after all... we dont need crap that collect dust and fill up a database.

...and by the way i program for the aos4.0 also, so now you know.

Come on man, are you for real?
If I was doing it for profit I wouldn't port stuff to OS4, it's a joke.

I haven't profited on my os4 ports since a long time now.
