I done summat very silly.....
« on: October 24, 2003, 01:16:03 AM »
Designed a new icon for my drawers- only trouble is i changed a few but the type of icon they now are are executables rather than drawers, and so double clicking them bring up the execute window rather than opening it up. How can I change this or am i going to have to copy a valid drawer icon in place of this new one?
Me and my friend are competing to have the most old school OS, we fed up of this faux-swanky stuff- its all about lo-tech simplicity!

What OS version are you using and are you using the provided icon editing tool or are you using a third party tool?

Is there any reason you can't run the cli?  then you can cd into where you keep the icon editor, and run it...

There are at least two different things you can
do:

1. Copy the .info file of an existing drawer over the one you have created, i.e. if your drawer is called foo and a working drawer's icon named bar then "copy bar.info foo.info". You may have to insert the right path elements.

2. Use your favorite icon editor and change the type of your new icon back to "Drawer". Save and maybe restart WB.
