I checked the amiga mall now, to see if anything new but then discover that all AmigaONE boxes has been removed http://www.amiga.com/amigamall/index.php?type=hardware

It's just a theory, but I think Wayne hit the nail on the head in this thread:

Amiga.com Amiga Mall Hardware section empty?

Didn't you hear?  They're all sold!  Yes!  And now that Eyetech has sold out and AI has recooped their losses, the latter is calling it quits!  They're going to be around long enough to sell out the rest of the items in the mall, then they'll retire the name and the line and call it a day!  It's true!  They've accomplished all they had hoped to, so now they are going out on the swell of good wishes from their users.  It's too bad you didn't get one when you had the chance, as they're all delivered and they're brill!  Sorry!  But DON'T believe Wayne!  He's wrong!

I think maybe bells should have gone off, i mean Amiga did not even take the time to design a case the simply stuck it in a few pc cases. If this A1 endgame thing is truwe it is sad but not unexpected. I often fear Amiga may be trying to weasle into the PC market. Their latest endeavor was A/Linux. If it can run linux It may run windows. Frankly I would not be suprised.

Wouldn't it be nice if they'd tell us why the hardware section has vanished.  It might even be something trivial.  If they'd tell us stuff then there wouldn't be as many rumours flying around. Or are they in agreement with the competition and think that bad publicity is good publicity?  Hey, at least ppl are talking about us.

Probably isn't something trivial.  Either Wayne is right (which I believe he is) or it's something even more devastating... For the paranoia freaks I put this one to ya:

Amiga Inc are turning all of their attention and efforts to this M$ deal with the DE.  Hey, they stand to make lots of money if all goes well, and good luck to them.  Bill McEwen knows M$ might not be too happy about Amiga having a rival OS in the making.  Is it worth blowing the whole M$ deal just to please a few guys wanting an upgrade that do nothing but whine about them anyway?

Naa, I'm just kidding. You should only worry if Amiga OS disappears from the amiga.com front screen.

I am not rying to be paranoid I am simply saying this "Blaze of Glory" ideal gets old quick. I hope Future Amigas are a bit more permanent. And yes it would have been nice to see a "This page is unavaliable due to server repairs or such intstead of there are no items to be displayed type message.
