I wish there were a port of YAM to the PC Winblows... PC email clients are so crappy... :S

Looks like some good additions. I've been using YAM exclusively for the last decade or so for many reasons. Thanks for the update!

A quick question: how does one select an e-mail without opening it and marking it read? Any time I go into a folder with new mails, the last new mail is automatically selected and opened, which isn't something I always want.
I sold my Amiga for a small fortune, but a part of my soul went with it.

That's not quite what I meant.

Older versions of YAM allowed mails to be selected without changing their status from New. This new version automatically selects and opens the last new mail. I'd rather double-click to open every mail rather than have the mailer do it on its own.

Hopefully that makes more sense.

for "older versions" you mean 2.3 ... 2.4?

anyway for some advanced setting, open the .config file and take a look at the bottom (Advanced section)

@MASACREWILL

try to go to YAM MUI Preferences> Screen to see if you have some AGA settings (or something along this line ... i'm on AmigaOS4 ATM with MUI3.9)

I am on your side here, I changed this first thing.  Here you go:  Turn off "Show embedded read _pane in main window"

Now, here's my problem:  I get this:
ALL the time.  And YES I have done what it says, more than once.  This does not happen on my girlfriend's stupid Peecee with UAE, but YAM has other problems on that piece of crap.
