Foolish and short sighted. Oh wait, who are we talking about again? nevermind.

Right. Ever since microsoft released windows'95 and windows'98 source codes along with ibm's os/2 warp sources, the world turned out to be better.

not to mention unix which is heck knows how old, but people still have a chance to add some crap to the sources, right?

why do i have a feeling you never worked for a software company...

edit:

oh wait, why do i try to open your eyes. even if they did a bunch of great job you would still be unsatisfied. feels like i am the only person here who finds some reason behind the answers i got.

and yes, i may be daydreaming about os5, but i believe it still comes up - even if not in q4, still within a year.

so, guys, one question:

what good have YOU done for the amiga recently?

oh, wait, i shouldn't have said that either. the ideology of people commenting here is stil far from reason. so i'm going to be the next one to be burnt after Bill. right?

pathetic.

Error, have you just (re-) discovered the Amiga and skipped the last 7 years of "Amiga history"?

Why do you trust Bill Mc. Ewen after all what went wrong in the last years?

Bill, is it true that your dealings with ACK are based on his proven track record for unreliability and the fact that it coincides with your own projections of OS5 or the fact that he's equally as delusional as you are?

Please see the answer to question 4.

How is that relevant in any way? Is this some sort of pissing contest now? Only True Developers may comment?

pathetic.

The whole thing is a joke. I can understand the fact that he cannot go into details about OS4 because of the legal matters. But everything about OS5, and the "let's wait and see" attitude just doesn't cut it with me. Many users are asking for "proof". Let's see screenshots, pictures, or something. Instead, all we get are vague answers and "you'll see when it comes out".

Sorry, but I have no interest in that kind of business. I'll stick with my classic Amiga and WinUAE until there's something new, real, and worth my money to buy.

NDA's are not permitting him to answer those questions

BTW, your reply was one of the *BEST* laughs I've had in a long time.

Let's see.....

I bought OS 3.5 *AND* 3.9. I bought a new A1200, when I didn't need one. I bought Amithlon. I bought one of those stupid coupons, when I knew I didn't want, nor could afford one of their buggy, over-priced Teron Boards. I tried to rebuild the situation, personally, between the two warring faction, blue and red. I tried to establish a viable market plan for Amiga, Inc. and Hyperion that would have started out slow, but would have seen a capital vestment.

What have YOU done for the Amiga?

[EDIT]

Personally, *I* think I have done enough and gotten nothing in return.

And I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

If he really gave a damn he could at least organize a DevCon, AFAIK the last one was in 1993.

I like the answer to Question 41.......

"Bill are you or ever have you ever been a member of the Magic Circle ?,

Yes, how did you know !?

"Your Good at making Amiga's appear, then click your fingers, and puff they vanish!"

And Question 42.......

"Bill what's the meaning of life.? OS42 perhaps ? oh and I heard from the almighty that you know they answer."

Same answer as the answer for number 4.

And Question 43

"Bill Can an Amiga have Babies ?"

Depends if its on the Pill.....

And Question 45

What happened to Question 44 ?

Same answer as the answer for number 4.

Finally Question 46

"Bill is it true you spend time and love answering questions of the Amiga Community ?"

Yes I waste no time in responding to questions. Its a Love thing you know.

;)

Shaz
was Enterprise Vault (Its an Exchange Fail!), now its EMC Avamar, Dedupe for mostly everything including brain cells.

Just my 5 cents...

THIS MAN is the biggest LIAR EVER SEEN on this world!!! Bill McEwen and his lies are with nothing on this world comparable. Sometimes I think he was just born to destroy and damage the amiga community with his lies.

In this liar is no little honor left, he should just go away, I can make this job thousand times better!!!

I don't see any point commenting on this at all if nobody knows where it came from. I can type up a set of questions and answers and post them as "from an unlikely source", too. What are we, moobunny?
