Maybe Amiga's lawyers should take notice and look for clients elsewhere, they will probably get stiffed too.

It seems to me that Wayne would have a better shot (at least as good) at raising $2.5 million... Feed the kitty! The Amiga.org Arena at Kent.

 :-D  :-D  :-D

At least it would make an even better April Fools "I'm selling the name to a Hispanic Lesbian organization" joke.

AROS on Intel is the solution, cheap hardware, spoiled for choice of peripherals. If there was a way that AROS could use MS Windows drivers...

Just to take the wool off everyone's eyes, if no-one else has done so already:

Amiga falsely gave is intention to purchase the naming rights purely for the publicity it would generate. And of course any publicity is good publicity. Just the media reports around the dropping of the naming rights have been worth the amount of money they put in (ie. none).

Where there's vapour, there's Amiga(R)

Jarrod.

ReactOS® is an advanced free open source operating system providing a ground-up implementation of a Microsoft Windows® XP compatible operating system. ReactOS aims to achieve complete binary compatibility with both applications and device drivers meant for NT and XP operating systems, by using a similar architecture and providing a complete and equivalent public interface.

ReactOS
All we need to do is add ReactOS source code to Aros and we will have support for both  windows applications and device drivers.
