Before anyone asks:

Yes, it is me, amigadave USA, not the other amigadave in the UK, and,

No, I will not be competing for the prizes since I am one of the two cash prize contributors.

My little part of supporting further development of what I consider a great idea and product.

Go for it and create something Amazing for us all to see and use!

Is this requirement necessary?

Quote
Requirements: Minimal size of the wallpaper is 1024x768 in 32bit color depth.

Surely it should be 24bit?

I can't really speak for Jan, but I am pretty sure you are correct in thinking that a 24bit color depth will be acceptable.  I am sure Jan will clear this question up as soon as he sees your post.

sorry for the OT:

Hello Jan

first of all, congratulations for your great package (installed past saturday for testing Amigift).

Amigift runs quite fine (bsdsocket issues apart)

Updated to WinUAE 1.4.2 but seems worse than 1.3.2.

What reliable version to use with a stable bsdsocket emulation? Thanks :-)

@Framiga

I am not sure. You can always try it yourself by copying various version of WinUAE.exe into your AmiKit\WinUAE\ folder.

(NOTE: If you experience screen mode or other problem with WinUAE 1.4.0 or higher version, please check this thread.)
