Can someone summarize this funk?

because: info on the site linked in the news item is "This is a Restricted Web Site for Official Court Business only. Unauthorized entry is prohibited and subject to prosecution under Title 18 of the U.S. Code. All activities and access attempts are logged." and that merlancia.us kook doesn't need any more hits to his paranoia cheese website.

Where? I can't see anything like that on the page, or the site TOS. Or are you perhaps talking about PACER?

So instead you request someone to summarize it all for you. Ok, I see. Here we go, ultrashort summary:

- Amiga Inc has sued Hyperion VOF for breach of contract, trademark infringement, trademark dilution, unfair competition, replevin and declaratory relief.

- Amiga Inc presets tons of exhibits and other material to back up their case. Some of the material is obviously wrong and contradictory. Regardless, the case looks pretty strong (but IANAL applies naturally).

- The next step is expected to be response from Hyperion VOF.

Either way, no matter who wins, they are not going to put the OS on affordable hardware such as a Mac, XBOX, or Wii...

...and I guess even PS3 though who knows why you'd want to do that with Sony's track record of using cheap, disposable components.
Earth has a lot of things other folks might want... like the whole planet. And maybe these folks would like a few changes made, like more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and room for their way of life. - William S. Burroughs

Where?...

It's behind the "Access this case on the Washington Western District Court's Electronic Court Filings (ECF) System" link. I guess that takes you to another site (PACER). You have to log in to read the papers.

That's patetic. Amiga's small market will never recover from another court battle.
