AmiBroker, the premier stock market analyzer program on the Amiga, now has full functionality after installing the just released public key file for the Amiga community, thanks to its author, who is currently supporting & selling a Windoze only version of it.

AmiBroker

The full 3.20 Amiga version is there, along with a 3.37 beta patch overlay.  Please take the time out to send a personal e-mail thanking its author, "Tomasz Janeczko" for releasing the key file for the Amiga version to the Amiga community & also send a thank you e-mail to "Andreas Magerl" @ Amiga Future for him e-mailing & convincing Tomasz Janeczko to release a public key file so quickly after I casually mentioned it in another thread yesterday here on Amiga.org.

Thank you. I have checked the demo and it looks like a truly professional piece of software.

 My feelings are mixed though. I see that many commercial software is released for free these days after their developers decide not to develop them any more. Most of them are moving to other platforms as well. :-(  Some examples that i could remember right now are Executive, EaglePlayer, Digital almanac...
 Imho, this is not just sad. It is what will kill the Amiga community, eventually. Not the unavailability of new hardware or the new OS. Imho, the lack of developers is the most serious factor.

@AmigaMance

Most of these developers have moved on years ago.

I wish I had known about this, I would have invested in keeping this software developed and supported. Using Amiga's for a low power or specialist trading appliance is something I may have spent considerable money on. If the developers want to send PM me and discuss this product, I would be happy to hear from them.

Now that the Amiga version key file for AmiBroker is released into the public domain, check out this web site:

The World of AmiBroker Support

Although it hasn't been updated in nearly 4 years, there are some AFL (AmiBroker Formula Language), ARexx, & Rebol scripts there to d/l; some d/ls are missing from the server, though.

Also, there just might be some AFL scripts on the AmiBroker web site that just might run on the Amiga.  I haven't tried any, though.  I would think that the older AFL scripts have a better chance to work than the newer ones, as AFL must've gotten more & more robust.  That link is here.
