I guess not. I've searched all over the net, but I couldn't find out anything about this thing, except that it looks like some "no name" made in China.

For the Pegasus chipset you might need to watch out for some older, bigger adapters, in most cases USB 1.1.

I have one of these Linksys USB100M

But can't find anything saying it has Pegasus chipset  :boohoo:

can it be somehow converted to use the recent ones???

Don't know if anyone's still reading this thread now that it's off the front page, but I can confirm that the

SMC2208USB/ETH

does not work. That'll teach me to doublecheck my research for next time. Good thing it was cheap. :crazy:
