Waterloo is pretty far west in the state... the narrow end too. Bummer. I would think Herkimer or Little Falls would be more central.

But at least Waterloo is a tad closer to Ithaca. Home of skinny dipping co-eds and top-free women.

Where are you located?

I have photos of top-free Ithaca women to share. Well, one of them is the ex-gf and I'm not sure how she'd react.  She's a bit insane :-)

Okay, but I'd prefer Watertown or at most Pulaski. We take what we can get (for free!)...

One more thing:

Several of us would like to see a Pegasos show up.  Pretty please? Anyone? :-)

PS. And if a certain Canadian making his own accelerators would like to drop by, well, we wouldn't mind that, either. :-D

PPS. No, we're not expecting him.

How about Crown Point next time. I know, this is tough. There is NYC and then there is "Upstate New York", right. Well, I hope this becomes a routine thing - but not too often. Eventually maybe a nice annual/semi-annual event that will attract a nice crowd and even if it ends up in Green Island, Postnkill, Oswego, or even Odgensburgh, N.Y. the menions will come.

We'll keep you all posted and hope to have pictures/report from the get together.

Crown Point! I bet I'm the only one that like to drive through the mountians... Long Lake, Peru, Queensbury, I know that area pretty well due to my other hobby. (check out that url for Crown Point)
Ogdensburg, NY works for me! On the border with a bridge to Canada. Only an hour for those in Ottawa and about 2-2.5ish for Montreal.
I think semi-annual would be nice, Spring and Fall. Though we haven't even had the first gathering yet, so maybe we should talk about that afterward.
If anyone it coming, has suggestions, or something to show off/talk about, come join the list and introduce yourself. We should have alittle bit of everything, except Pegs(noone has one).

Haaahah.. I just came up with it off the top of my head really...I love that area.

There is quite a tight group in Ottawa, correct. It might make sense. However, maybe due to weather - if might be best to do the "Spring" meeting up there and not the fall. Then again we could just have 4 meetings a year hosted at 4 diff. parts of the state geographically eh... what ever it takes to fill the place. But as you say - lets see how the first one comes off.

I emailed the guy listed at the top.  No reply.

Can I join without having to be Yahoo's B*tch?  I really don't want to have to set up a yahoo account just to join one of the damnable "Yahoo Groups".  That alone is a major reason why people don't bother with yahoogroups.

Although the recent revelation that Yahoo works hand in glove with the Bush admin spooks might be the new top reason for avoiding all things Yahoo.
