If you still have the Original boxes, you should find the serial stickers on them too (at least the phase5 ones).

I will register my Cybervision PPC next time I open my 4000 (Probably next weekend)

Don't have a CyberstormPPC to go with it though :( Just a CS-MkIII
Back to action!

10.000 accelerator cards...? Nowadays it seems as if they only made a couple of them.

The last PPC card I saw on eBay went for more than I originally paid for my one factory new.

Including the gfx cards so count 2.500 for each.

I hate to be a pain, but what exactly is the point of this??

There are users that have had their cards die, and those that sent DCE their cards for repair, and never got them back.

This won't tell you how many were made. At best you'll find out how many are still alive and active.

It would be even more interesting for all accelerator owners to register their cards - I bet the Blizzard 1230-IV outsold the PPCs by 10:1!

:-)

@ DJBase:

I didn't say there was a problem.
I'm not flaming or bashing them for the request of this information. I simply want to know what the purpose of this info is for.

If I may bet, and it's being hosted on amigaworld has anything to do with it, it may well be a lightly concealed market survey for releasing OS4 classic or not.

Instead of simply releasing it.

Or just as well I may be mistaken or overinfluenced by conspiracy theories :-)

No, at least Amigaworld.net doesn't have malicious popups.

Yes, there is. I'm not the only one to see them either.

Good chance to give their Amiga's a clean and a health check!

First popup was a fake Windows system message. Kill that window and it launches a visual basic script. No damage done to my computer, but others less protected (Windows) may get nailed with malicous code.

@DJBase

No popup ads should pretend to be Windows system errors and they certainly shouldn't be launching visual basic scripts if they have anything besides harmful intentions.

Don't like me commenting? Tough, deal with it.

There is no popup ad from my side. There is a JavaScript from the counter to get some stats. This counter is used on millions of webpages. Seems nobody has any problems with that except you. Disable JavaScript or block popups and you will be fine.

If your Windows crashes of this script its more a fault of your system.
