MPlayer Dirty Preview #5.
«

On my site and on os4depot it is possible to download a new version of MPlayer.
This version is compiled with new SDK and NewLib.
Look at os4depot "read me" for all news.
Please report all bugs to me as usual
Thank You.

I've heard that it's a very good player but without OS4, i can't use it. Any estimations of when it will be released?

Mplayer really rocks :-) Thanks Andrea.
@AmigaMance?
For classic? OS4 has the lastest version, Mos an old one, but i don't think any 68k build will be ever released (speed).
Buy a MicroA1 :-P

@ikir
No, i'm not talking about a 68k version. I know that it will be too slow.
I'm talking about the release of the OS4 for classic PPC Amigas (BPPC/CSPPC). Afaik, only the beta-testers of the OS4 have a functional version for these Amigas. Right?

@AmigaMance
I think I heard somewhere that it'll be released when the A1 version is, since the different versions are now pretty much in sync with each other. I realise that only pushes the question back a stage though :-D
It cannot be too far off now; IIRC update 3 is meant to be the final update before the release.

ehm, mplayer 68k will be enough fast on classic amiga like Amithlon.
FroggerNG 68k is good enough to play many divx
, but no dvd video, because it don't support sound AC3..
