PCMCIA fun

One of my little projects lately has been to get my semi-upgraded A600 and spare A1200 online via the PCMCIA port. I think I'm being plagued by the infamous reset bug, but I thought only the 1200 had this problem and that the 600 didn't.
Anyone know what the story is before I try CardPatch and CardReset from Aminet?

All I've ever heard is that only the A1200 is affected. Of course, all you need to do is plug in the card when the computer is already on. If that doesn't work, then you have other problem(s).

Well, with my CN40BC card, I had to insert the card after I powered on my A1200, but in my A600 it works straight away!..
Try and see if PrepCard can read any data of the card?

Here CardPatch worked like charm. No need to reinsert PCMCIA card or
HW hacks.

My 3com card worked fine in my a1200, I just left it all the time, even worked after OS3.9 rebooted the system on bootup.

Hmmm. Maybe the card is damaged. It was giving me trouble on the PC, but I though that could have just been a Windows config disaster. Maybe not.
Thanks, all. I'll try this stuff out once more.
