Stefan Burström fixes AmigaOnes at AmiTron 2005
« on: March 25, 2005, 01:37:07 PM »
With only 10 days left, it is an honour to announce that Stefan Burström of Ibrowse fame and involved in AmigaOS 4 development will attend at AmiTron 2005.

Burström will fix AmigaOne boards for the price of 250 NOK. (~ 30 USD). As always the fix happens at the owners own risk.

If you want to attend and still haven't sent us details please do so using the following email: mail (at) ami-tron.org. If you want to attend to the dinner after the venue, please use the same e-mail address to notify us so we can arrange seats.

See you there!

What's Eyetech's official excuse these days for keeping the procedure under NDA?

ISTR reading something about "it's secret because people would blame their own fscked-up fixes on Eyetech/dealers and want compensation", but the warranty if there ever was one is voided even if you get the fix done by an authorised party, and you'll have to pay for it.

"Licencees will have to develop and resource a full customer solution, with guarantees on product quality, delivery, and most important of all post sales support, with firm commitments to repair, replacement and turnaround, elements that have blighted the platform over the last five years." -- AInc/Eyetech, 12/4 2002  :D
