So what's happens next year (or next month) when your drive burns up and the author can't be bothered by the Amiga market anymore? (let's not forget the lessons of the recent past).
I'd rather the key file was tied to ME and not my hardware.
BTW, I LIKE the software -- it's works perfectly here and is more intuitive than MakeCD. I also think the registration price is dirt cheap (not that I can register anyway, since I'm in the States).
I have nothing against an author being paid for his work (and protecting himself from pirates). I just don't like the way this particular author has chosen to do it (didn't like it when Microsoft did it either!).
I register EVERYTHING that I use (I've jumped through some pretty tough hoops to do so, too), but this one is over the line.
