PCI netcard pinging itself under mediatornet.device...
« on: October 13, 2003, 02:50:27 PM »
I don't get it...

When I switched networkcards the other day and had to change from fastethernet.device to mediatornet.device, miami pings itself all the time, in random periods???

Any suggestions on this?

Well Miami is weird (to me!) but the main difference between these cards is that the 100 Mbit ones do have DMA, so there's bound to be some difference on the low level.
So you have the strings in your palm. Do you know what they are for?
