Watching it now, they're talking about the C64, coming back in some sort of emulator, etc.

Suppose I'm waiting for that Commodore Amiga announcement ;-)
Anyway is the only way

They make some mp3 players and such, and they gave them names like (e)Vic, Pet, etc. Lame IMHO.

Their web site is now open, but there is not a signle sign of commodore feeling there...

Do you think they will re-launch the brand or just fade away, because it looks like there are no new products to market.

Does anyone know any different.

This reeks of lameness all around. They're selling music (????) on the commodoreworld.com website?

And their new 'product' is a plug in your tv thingamgajig like the Atari joystick thing with a bunch of Epyx games. I wonder if the original authors get paid any royalties.....

And what's with the lame italics C= logo. Bah, I hope Tulip goes bust sooner than later.

-edit-
BWAHAHAHAHAAH
They're offering C64 games for download. As long as you get a 5EUR/month subscribtion. :-D

Agreed.  Tulip never was one of my favorite companies (after harrasing Jerri Elsworth, and all)...  And, now, browsing that site has greatly lowered my opinion of their offerings, as well.

A C64 branded joystick with Epyx games that are available free on Back2Roots?  But just because they are available free there for personal download...  Doesn't necessarily mean that they're totally free to do with what they like.  I wonder if Tulip secured the proper rights from Hasbro (who IIRC owns the rights to the old Epyx games).  If they did get squared away with whoever is the owner, that would improve my opinion of the product...  If not, it should be fun to watch Hasbro bludgeon Tulip to death.

[EDIT]:  I think Infogrames actually purchased the rights to these games from Hasbro a year or two ago...  Anyhow, it'll still be interesting to see if Tulip was on the up-and-up, or not...

A lot of them are free for personal use, but all rights are still reserved.

Personal use is quite a different thing from being included in a compilation that is to be sold for profit........
