OpenPCI is absolutely the best thing on Amiga...

Is it, really? Last time I checked it seemed like it supported like 3-4 PCI-cards out there... Realtek 8139 and some soundcard? Or was it just me not getting hold of the correct information?

I mean, the project seemed good in theory, but much did not seem to have come out of it. Mediator supports quite a few cards already... I don't see why one should go for something that isn't evolving in any way...

The OpenPCI SDK is available... It's also included
in the MorphOS SDK...
And about Mediator's "more" drivers, keep in mind
that most drivers for MorphOS use OpenPCI...
These are BY FAR more than Elbox's drivers...

It's the official MorphOS PCI API and it's the only
one in this market that supports EVERYTHING (apart

I had no idea about this. I thought it was evolving like said on the AMiGA OpenPCI-page (which doesn't really say that much). Well, then, yes, then it is most certainly evolving. Didn't know the connection between MorphOS PCI API... *so lost*

The maintainer of the OpenPCI SDK hasn't responded to my requests in the past. Perhaps I'll try again.

I've just submitted a request for access to the MorphOS SDK; however, I'm developing for AmigaOS, so this won't be much help.

It will probably work, use the OPCI headers from the MOS SDK and compile for 68k. HOP! An AmigaOS
library/device/executable! :-)

Turns out the MorphOS SDK sign-up was automated, so that wasn't a problem. Since the MorphOS header layout looks identical to the AmigaOS header layout, I suppose it would work. Now I just need to give it a try!
