Blizzard PPC and Cyberstorm PPC Repairs

Hyperion Entertainment would like to remind classic Amiga users that they can still take advantage of their repair offer for these cards.

Email timdg@hyperion-entertainment.com as a first point of contact.

Cost for repairs is a flat 145 euro + parts and you may pay via paypal, wire transfer or by cash (at your own risk).  Should your card not be repairable, It will be shipped back to you at no cost should you wish.

Now is the ideal time to get your Classic Amiga ready for OS4.
YNWA!

Hello Hyperyon,

that's a nice and useful service but are still 2 big problems:

1- "some" (a lot) of the PPC cards are still at DCE and "seems" that nobody is reachable to DCE ATM.

2- some of those cards, was delivered new and DOA to the customers and resellers and NOT repairable (from the DCE POV!!!)

Anyway, a great service for all the user that have NOW a PPC broken card.

Cheers

PS- seems that 90% of defective cards DOA and not, suffers of a bad 060 CPU socket soldering.

This holy-crap socket, must be soldered through the pins-holes . . . .onestly don't know HOW!!! (seems with a infrared or laser gear).
