Wolfenstein 3D Screenshots
« on: January 03, 2004, 11:57:52 PM »
There are some screenshots of the classic shooter Wolfenstein 3D running on AmigaOS4 to be found at Amigaworld.

The first-person shooter titled Wolfenstein 3D was originally released for DOS in 1992 by ID Software. It was later released in 1994 for the Macintosh. There was also a version released for the Super Nintendo and later for the Atari Jaguar.

Um, and this is news how?

I have had the same game on MorphOS for months

But it is a fun game, I play it on my Jag almost every night, along with Tempest 2000.

oh well i played this on Shapeshifter in 96 , ran fluidly on my 060 , but nah amiga could never do 3d, oh yeah and it aint even 3d :)

pps:no matter if its morphos or aros or amigaos , news is news even if its a port of an 14 year old game...

He, Wolfenstein was a nice game... I remember the time when we first played it on a 386 PC. Just unbelieveable.

There was even a German Book about 3d games programming that hat the game sources in it.

Sadly this is a dream. Valve will not give the  licence..... at least for a long time.

well, Morphos users are also Amiga user.

MorphOS is MorphOS, an amiga like system. Stop. And... who cares? We are talking about W3D on OS4 not about MOS VS AOS.

heh i remember playing this game on a friends 386 around 96, loved it and downloaded it for the PC not so long ago (the legal shareware version before anyone groans).
I was unaware of the Mac version, I should look into that.
