By the time most of you read this my full report should be online. At the time time of writing I am still busy uploading the larger of the 2 mpeg-1 files. So sit back, relax, grab a beer and read ... oh and the URL's www.benelux-report.webhop.net

The lad has a definate way with words :-D

Seriously though, beyond a typo or two, this is a very good review, well ballenced, honest, to the point (unlike this post) and interesting (at least to me personally).

I think however that it is sad that so few people arrived at the show, ahh well, maybe next year eh?

Keep up the good work fuzzbuddy :-P
Blessed Be,

Good report.
Now the bad bit, the DiVX appears to be duff :~/
I ran it through G-Spot and it reports it as an unknown Avi file. What codec did you use?

Hey Ryu!

I can confirm that Ryu and his companion were the really first on the show!
Too bad I was too busy on the show (yes, really) to have a chat with an active A.org poster :-D
Mucho appriciated the support from England!

He used the latest version of DivX from www.divx.com

Oh yeah I advised him on the conversion (as the most knowledgable guy on #amihelp @ the time),  so any problems r partly (if not all) my fault.

The codec was the total free one, dunno if a direct link will work...

Nice, honest review Ryu.

Why would you want to burn a Superbundle though?
There's some very nice software in there - especially for your friend. There's a version of PSA, which normally retails for a coupla hundred quid. I fhe likes Amiga music software, it's one of the most comprehensive programmes there is.

But I don't mean to nitpick, sorry.

Thanks.

Great report Ryu! The DivX however also doesn't play on my PeeCee (using Win. Media Payer).

@wilse:
I think that burning remark might have some historical roots in a previous Amiga show involving posters ;-).

@odin

Burning a poster is bad,but burning good SW (some of it even usable under AOS)
is just plain stupid, childish .....
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Downloaded the DivX version & it is shafted

I'm downloading the VCD 1 ATM (server is only giving me 22KB/s so I'm getting there slowly...)

If no-one else gets there 1st & Ryu wants me to do it I'll convert the damn thing myself & put it on my server (32KB/s bandwidth only so...) till it gets re-uploaded

@ all the kind comments

Thanks, its people like YOU I did the report for.

@ the way to serious people around here

lighten up, the burning thing was a joke, sheeesh. I have taken a loook through the Superbundle CD's and it seems the only thing a classic amiga can run is the feeble files which I personally cant stand so it is of no use to either me or my friend Dave.

In closeing I did this Report because I wanted to. The report contains things I wanted to put in it, I put my own money into the project (a lot of it), I invested my own time in it. I went to the trouble of finding a hosting service as great as Sixgirls.org. So to all you winging people out there STFU will you and get a life.
