First Special Amiga.org offer
« on: August 30, 2003, 05:12:46 PM »

Amiga.org is proud to present the first of a series of special offers to all Amiga.org members;

The first offer is the well-known Cherry Cyboard wireless bundle, including the special Boing keycaps that will totally complete your Amiga or compatible system. The set consists of an RF wireless multimedia keyboard, an RF wireless scrollmouse, a receiver and a set of officially
licensed Amiga Boing keycaps to replace the Windows keys.

The keyboard can be used directly on AmigaOne, Pegasos, PC (WinUAE) systems and on classic Amiga models using PC keyboard and PC mouse interfaces.

The official retail price is 140 Euro for the keyboard set and 16 Euro for the keycaps. In conjunction with Computer City, Amiga.org can offer a complete set (i.e. keyboard, mouse, receiver, keycaps) for only 65 Euro ! (Amiga.org members only).

Please click on this link for pictures of the keyboard and ordering information.

Thats a great offer, but theres no way it would replace my A4000 keyboards. I love them so much, i've stocked up on brand new ones, since they can't keep supplying NOS ones forever!

I'd get one if it wasn't wireless ;-) There's a wired version of that
set available too, isn't it? Will it be sold over amiga.org, too?

Its a great offer, but I can't buy it as they are not offering a UK QWERTY keyboard. I can't deal with having the @ on the 2 and the " on the '

Oh well

 :-(

Yes it is a dodgy picture, but what do you expect from a mobile phone camera!!

Oh yeah and I own an A1200T/060 with Mediator etc and an A1G3SE

@Kees

You don't happen to know whether its possible to order UK keyboards? (Obviously at the normal price of 140 euro) as it doesn't seem to say on the Computercity website.

Cheers

Is the page hopelessly messed up under Netscape 7.1 or is it just me?

It's apparently just you. :-)

I see no problems in NS 7.1 or IE 6.  Please consider sending a screenshot to Kees@amiga.org for his consideration?

{edit}
while I was primarily joking and I didn't see any problems, Kees is also seeing problems and is working to fix it.
