Dave Pitcher (aka Miffy) has reviewed Eyetech's AmigaONE Power System, based on the A1G4-XE motherboard at the AmigaWorld.net community portal.

As I stated on ann, it's a rather nice review. A bit cheerish, but having a machine for which one waited for years, it's not a surprise.

It clearly states what I've told many times that LinuxPPC is not an enemy. It's a bit overly optimistic about UAE, but anyway I liked it much.

Congratulations! :-)

I just know what to expect from UAE on Linux and was pleasantly surprised.

If I find a problem or something that doesn't make me happy I will post on it.

Of course its cheery, the system cheered me up, it made me feel as happy as I felt when my A4000 was delivered. :-)
Hate figure.

Its a real beauty of a case: Perspex front panels, silver finish and obligatory cut out side with internal blue lighting

Any pics?

I got a kick out of the different "BAF" and "non BAF" ratings.  I think that adds a bit of realism to the review.

;-) Good review of what seems to be an excellent product.  I'm still waiting to test OS4 on my Cyberstorm first, but it's looking more and more as though I'll be getting the A1 when OS4 is available for it.
