Push-Entertainment Demo News and New Download
« on: August 22, 2003, 12:54:32 AM »
We are proud to present you with "mental" final version.

Because of some stupid reasons in the compo at assembly, a first beta version of the demo with bugs was shown. This release is what we intended  more or less for the compo not the beta mental which was both shown  and spread at assembly. In this version you will find much better sound, rtg support and removed some bugs.

Mental placed 5th in the combined demo compo at assembly2003.

A demo and all our other stuff can be found on : Push-Entertainment

I have to say this is a great demo, one of the
best I've seen on amiga. Humus 1-4 also are
very impressive considering they are 4k.

Really if you don't knows this demo you are missing anything, i love it, in my ranking it's one of the firsts but this demo have some effects never seen before in other demos, as the water effect simply superb, humus 4 is another art piece from Push, you don't will believe the possible things to make with 4kb!. About dolphin dreams, well is a great intro 64kb but i think what need a bit more of spee almost in my 060-50 mhz is not very fast. Push have very nice demos/intros but i love also demos from other groups, i can mention demos as Planet potion (incredible ppc demo) Magia incredible or  lapsus simply stunning. Enjoy this push demo and other demoscene productions are full of creativity and work.

Finally my lasts words are the nexts...
A lot of thanks Amiga sceners for the cool moments what i live in front my machine...

Just wanted to report that this cool demo (cgx version) works perfectly on Amiga running MorphOS (1.4). Very fast, even in 24bit.

Anyhow, this demo has some of my all time favorite scenes: the girl and the ocean + sunset scenes are just plain beatiful.

I also saw this demo live on the bigscreen at Assembly 03. It got really nice reception, even some applauds during the demo. :)

I just watched the video of Dolphin's dream and it is WONDERFUL !!
You've done a great job on it, cool music, impressive and smooth 3D,
great ambiance, cool music...

I hope your next demos or intros will be less hardware dependent ;-)
For exemple, Mental seems to use the cia :-(

Anyway, keep going you are very good :-D
