Genesi: Corporate website reworked
« on: August 19, 2003, 06:08:50 AM »
Genesi's corporate website Genesi.lu has been reworked. Furthermore the supported operating systems on PegasosPPC.com have been updated.

Interesting... if you click on the boing ball under "The following Operating Systems are in the early stages of being ported to the Pegasos Platform", it takes you to the AmigaDE pages at de.amiga.com.  Is there a port of DE to the Peggy in the works?  does this mean the rift is closing? details, details!

How Genisi il LAME!!!!!! Oh My God!!!!! Rwally funny!!! Too stupid......

"Genesi How we do LAME things"

Whats up Ikir.. you haven't been trolling at MZ for a long time. We miss you already.

I can't see any reason to LOL about DE for Pegasos, I see it only as a good thing when it comes to Amiga / Amiga Inc.
Maybe someone could educate me why this is so bad?

I personally think that this sort of announcement leads to confusion. With the wording as it is in the announcement, a few people have thought this to mean OS4 support rather than DE (e.g. ANN - http://www.ann.lu/comments2.cgi?view=1061267806&category=unmoderated&start=1&38 ).

Ikir,

Please explain what you think is so funny in this situation?  I really don't understand.  DE is being ported to MorphOS.  There are legal issues which I cannot get into, but it is happening.

We have also found that you can run AmigaOS under emulation and still have it be faster than any native MC680x0 Amiga ever built.  As such, your humor eludes me.

Amiga DE is not AmigaOS. Unde the page of Operating System if i read Amiga i think to AmigaOS.

Genesi is simply cheating. And for me is LOL

Update the page writing AMIGA DE not Amiga with the boing ball.

I troll? You confuse me with yourself? MZ? MorphZone?

Again, i like MorphOS and Pegasos and in the past i had think to buy one.... but GENESI is a lamer company.

The funny thing probably is, that its high unlikely that DE is being
ported to Pegasos.

@Wayne

Could you elaborate on this some, i dont think Amiga Inc is willing to develop for the "competition" as stated earlier regarding OS4, and legal issues aside you can't force a company to actually develop/port something for someone if they don't want to. They can always avoid it.

Besides, i tought Amiga didn“t have any money for anything ;-)
