i'll be damned if MorphOS isnt a sexy bitch, year...

Seriously, those are the best shots of MOS i've seen. Not just the icons look good but i love the title bar. Also the information was very itneresting. I didnt know that MorphOS was modules.

The abilitiy to be able to inherit parts of the system sounds awsome, instead of just using them.

Looking for to hearing and seeing more.

It feels like who ever took the shots, just quickly ran a few apps without thinking of positionioning, and grabbed the screen. I can assure users will be posting 10x better desktops to MZ gallery shortly.

Now with MOS 1.4... When can we expect your review? :-)

@Warface

When it's released. I have already started to think how to do it .. it will probably be partly a comparison between 1.3 and 1.4, while it will still focus on overall usability and features of 1.4.

I have to learn more about it as there are no documents about whats fixed, changed and added. Tons of new things to discover... plus I haven't got the final 1.4 even :-)

@z5

We have many people in the forums, many of whom are not jerks.  Unfortunately, it is the jerks that most folks remember.

About the Icons, I thought I had provided a screengrab with smaller icons.  I will create a new screengrab showing different sized icons if you would like.  MorphOS can actually scale the PNG icons via a desktop setting, and it's really neat (translation: it's an excuse for me to play with MorphOS 1.4 again!)

That's true. But i would like to see MorphOs people more believing in their own strength instead of all those useless attacks on competition. I mean, you have the system and it seems to be shaping up, but i still see a lot of MorphOs ppl investing time trying to bring down the competition instead of focusing on strenghts of own system, if you know what i mean.
Whenever i read another troll post in forums, i wonder if that is the spirit that i will get when really joining MorphOs forums.

You should be praising the strenghts of your own system!

About the screens, i think it needs a bit more work. Hooligan claims he can do far better screens than that. The screenshot section was the first thing that i, as a potential customer, clicked on when visiting the site.

Maybe you could first do a section based on the standard look of morphOs, showing off various things about the gui,...

Then you could have a section dealing with giving it a different look and feel.

Now it is actually quite hard to see what the default morphOs looks like out of the box as all screenshots are different.

Remember friends, trolling -- like taxes -- is universal, "color"-blind, and stupid.

While I agree with your sentiments, I simply cannot agree with your viewpoint that attaches the symptom to only one side of the problem.
