Mailinglist now has over 162 members and over 240 messages, most are about programming and porting Mozilla.

AmiZilla website has gotten over 1 million hits since appearing on the famous unix geek website slashdot.

AmiZilla continues to gather positive press for the Amiga and MorphOS by being covered on mainstream websites like CNET's news.com, mozillazine.org and many others.

Amiga Inc. representative Fleecy Moss has commented they like AmiZilla but will not contribute to the Initiative because a port is also underway for MorphOS.

Keep in mind that the AmiZilla Project needs you to be successful. The booty is now over $4122, which is a impressive amount of money for an Amiga project. If only one programmer was working on the port this would be a nice reward. However several programmers are working together. Once the money is split among coders the booty is not big enough. Please contribute if you can, every dollar helps motivate programmers to make the AmiZilla Project a success. After the release of AmiZilla more projects are being developed like Hot CoCo (JVM) and F Gordon (Flash). The development and launch of these add-ons to AmiZilla depend on the success of that project. Paypal donations can be sent in via this weblink.

This actually makes me feel better, believe it or not. If Fleecy is against it, it's got to be a good thing. Could they be any bigger morons? Probably not. Wait - they could be Ted Waitts I guess.

Honestly, thank God OS 4 is not in their hands; ditto that for Amiga ONE. Because other companies are doing those jobs, we might actually see them come to fruition.

Fleecy may actually find your remarks insulting as well, but seeing as you are a moderator......

Anyway, I hope something comes of this project. It would be good to see it running sometime in the future.

If Fleecy is against it, it's got to be a good thing.

I take it you never read Fleecy's original statemenent? He applauds the efforts and thinks it is an excellent initiative. He says they are not supporting it because they are already working on an HTML rendering solution for AOS. It doesn't make sense to sponsor/fund two initiatives and he prefers to spend the money/effort on their own solution, which is quite different from the things you're suggesting.

Personally I love the AmiZilla effort and would love for it to succeed. But I'm also anxious to see what Amiga Inc. & partners are going to come up with.

Please open your eyes.. ffs. You know why they are not supporting the project financially just as good as I do, or anyone looking at things in right perspective.

I have seen excuses and explanations from several companies before (ding dong, elbox .. dare to say the one of the lamest excuse of 2k?
