PPC OS4 or 68K? I hope it's PPC, I'm curious to see it running.

This show is really shaping up to be the event of the year.
Given that there's a month yet to go, chances are that Hyperion may be able to present something special yet.
Y'know, either OS4PPC running on a Cyberstorm native PPC only. Or Workbench booting up on the Amigaone.

Or both?

Hate figure.

We hope to have large parts of the system running PPC native by that time.

Still 1 month away.

Looking forward to see it in action, Ben.

Will you maybe have a preview on AmigaOne already?

Greetings, Gio

Yeah! To bad it's in the wrong corner of the world! :-(

It would be very nice if someone of you who go there (or the arrangers) bring a DV camera and put some clips on line!

Please please! :-)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

If only I was in California, I went to the Ohio show last year, and it was SAD, The Peg was supposed to show up, but nope! Freaking ticked me off, what a wasted drive. There was like maybe 5 booths there showing off what ancient Amigas could do. And no one cared. Totally un-like the last Show I had been to which actually had a good turn out, back when Gateway had bought the name.

Anyhow can't wait to see some live video of OS4 in action, MorphOS too for that matter!

@Idituri

Amiga.org is attempting to secure a DSL connection for the duration of the show on the show floor.  If that is possible, then we will be networking the entire show floor via 802.11b and 384kbps (upload) DSL.

The DSL company has already stated that they would be more than willing to allow it, the only issue is the hotel and they are currently working with them to resolve any issues there.

If we can accomplish it, what that means is

1) The UGN being able to broadcast live video and audio more stably than before.

2) All machines on the show floor being networked

3) Even your PDAs might be networked.

4) We might have a neat surprise or two up our sleeves.

5) Live video feed interviews, etcetera.

Lots of details to work out, and AmiWest is just around the corner, but it could be fantastic...

Does anyone know if Bill Bosari will be providing his usual top class broadcasts too?

Oh arse! I've just seen the dates, I won't be able to catch the news, I'll be stuck in  a car with my in-laws travelling up to the wilderness of northern England. Oh joy :-(

Hope everyone who goes has a laugh and enjoys themselves more than at recent shows. :-D
