Since Amiga Inc decided to let someone auction their "old stuff" ... Clickboom also found its way to the auction-hall.

"Would you like to own one of our most trusted weapons -- Amiga 4000/PPC that was used to create some of the biggest Amiga games ever?"

Interesing. One would have to speculate this is the end of Amiga Classic games from ClickBoom :-(

Probably ... but maybe it also means that they will developpe games for the AmigaOne and the Pegasos from now on.

But i doubt it .. I asked them to do an interview weeks ago ... never got a reply.

Doesn't look too good. Maybe they'll donate the games and code to Aminet. The AmigaOne needs games like these.

=> The guy (or maybe they are several) at the head of "Clickboom" "se fout(ent) vraiment de la gueule du monde" !

I wouldn't read anything into it.  It says on
the auction, this computer hasn't been used in a while, they 'forgot' they had it.

If they quit Amiga development, it was a long time ago.  On the other hand, they couldn't even be bothered to wipe the hard drive, just removed it.

The comp would have gone for more as a working system, imho...instead sold as a 'piece of history' system. lmao, whatever.

I would guess they are out of Amiga development, but then again, they could easily have another machine.  And, its been said many times they didn't do most of their Amiga development anyway, but eastern european coders under contract....contracts that weren't even honored, if you believe rumors.

Anyway....its an Amiga on auction....thats the 'news' here.

Badly it seems that they have quit developing for the Amiga. :-(   IF u go on their game site, u see that there is no mention of the game 666 that they announced some time ago. And if u look at Napalm 2 u see that it stands on the left side (PC game site).
The only Amiga game left is Z and i would be wondered if it came out some day.

I guess selling history makes more sense than selling A4000's what with AmigaOnes and Pegasi on the scene.

Hey, maybe I should ebay CU Amiga's legendary A4000t, "Bitch" (don't blame me, I didn't come up with the name, I just took it home when CU closed! )

Hmmm... I wonder how much I could get for the Commodore 64 on which the chart topping Firebird game "Arcade Classics" was written, thus making it the machine upon which the very concept of retro gaming was born? Gotta be worth more than the Amiga port of Myst! ;-)
