Yeah.

Slovenia.

A giant hub of Amiga use.  Why, Slovenia is where the ... um.  The...  They had a, er...

They developed a... wait, I know I can think of it...something or the other in Slovenia.

What a joke this "tour" is.

"Now appearing in Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Laos, McMurdo Sound (wait, strike that one, it's an American concern), the Malvinas and Easter Island, it's OS4 On Tour!"

Back away from the EU-SSR!

yeah, let's bash some more. It's easy, isn't it? And so much fun!

What a joke this tour is, i mean it goes to Germany, Sweden, Switserland, Italy, France, Austria also and maybe even more. All small countries, i'm sure you will agree. But you probably forgot to mention that...

Yeah, all just toy countries, eh? :-x

Well, *excuse* the world for not revolving around *you* and the country *you* happen to be in!
If it wasn't for some of these countries and their Amiga communities the Amiga would have died a long time ago.

Slovenia is a right and important place to begin, I think. Granted, I have no idea what the amiga means in that part of the world anymore, but just a few years ago it, and the surrounding countries, contained the largest amount of (visible) coders and (visible) users - to me, at least.

To conclude: unless something serious has happened, I think there will be plenty of interested people attending the show in Slovenia. But I will let you rest assured that I am from Denmark and really have no idea :-)

Sincerely,
-Kenneth Straarup.

@amigamad

As I recall there where plans to extend the OS4 tour to GB,
or whithin a two hour driving radius from
Stansted airport to be exact.

The only recquerment was that (a) sombody/usergoup took care of all the formal arangements,
getting a place where the event could be held and such.
But  nobody has been interested in doing anything sofar,
exept complaining and moaning that is.
Which is, as I understand it,  the reason why the tour

does not at this time include GB.

Slovenia is neighbouring country of Austria, where
Point design resides, Graz is an hour from Slovenian
border! I live 30 min from Slovenian border in Croatia.
Slovenia is some kind of crossroad between Southeast
and West europe! So it's OK to have show there!

No, I don't agree. Germany, France and Italy are only some of the most populated countries in Europe.

It's all about opportunity. Since the tour is organized by Jürgen along with local dealers and usergroups, It only goes to those places where dealers and user groups participated.
Look out, I\'ve got a gun

Right, so getting constructive for a mo  :-o , what are the basic requirements? Somewhere to meet, a public-spirited A3/4000-Cyberstorm PPC owner willing to loan their box out for a day?

Anyone want to add to that?

Stimpy (non-3/4000 owner...)
What rolls down stairs,
alone or in pairs,
Rolls over your neighbours\\\' dog?
What fits on your back,
and it\\\'s great for a snack,
it\\\'s Log! Log! Log!

Lo-og, Lo-og
Its big! It\\\'s Heavy! It\\\'s Wood!
Lo-og, Lo-og
It\\\'s better than bad - It\\\'s Good!

Somewhere to meet

Within a two hours drive from Stansted.  IMO it'd be fairest for it to be as close as possible to the centre of the country (partially because I live there ;-), and partially because there seem to be a lot of Amigans up North)
