Oh... this was a nice surprise!

When it arrives I will surely buy it...  not that one can't watch the original demos on the computer, but heck, why not support such an inspiring project? Besides it will look good in the collection...
Amiga 1200, Mirage Tower, PC-Key 1200, Blizzard 1260/50, SCSI Kit, 256MB RAM, 40GB HD, Mediator SX, Soundblaster 128, Voodoo 3 and Realtek 8139.

Cool! I just entered these demo's in the survey:

Ninja by Melon Dezign
Friday at eight by Polka Brothers
World of commodore by Sanity
Hardwired by Silents & Crionics
State of the art by Spaceballs
9 fingers by Spaceballs
Full moon by Virtual Dreams
Technological death by Mad Elks
Budbrain megademo 2 by Budbrain
Budbrain megademo 1 by Budbrain
d.o.s. by Andromeda
Mindriot by Andromeda

I loved those demos. I must say I liked the first volume of Mindcandy, although most of those PC-demos tend to look alike very much... A couple of 3D-objects and a lot of manipulated photos/images fading through etc. At least Amiga demos had more original designs. Offcourse the PC-demos ARE higher quality resolution-wise.

regards,

Onno

i bought the first volume as well. High quality DVD obviously done with a lot of love and respect for the subject they covered.

Volume 2 is Amiga demos only so sadly no place for those legendary potion stuff.

I'm still compiling my list...not easy... I think it would be kind of difficult to include Megademos like budbrain and red sector because of the mouse clicking needed bteween parts. So when do you skip to the next part...

A lot of high quality stuff in your list, pVC  ;-)
A.miga D.emoscene A.rchive: Relive the dreams...

It sure is no easy vote because we can only pick 20, and the DVD is suppose to have around 30 demos total, While that is great that we get to see some great demos instantly ready via DVD, i think they need alot more than 30 to sum up what the Amiga demo scene was all about.

I pushed my views about a possible 2 DVD's/alot more demos on there forums but i'm guessing that unfortunately is not gonna happen, ah well... here is my votes...

Desert Dream
Symbolia
Technological Death
Hardwired
State of The Art
9 Fingers
Substance
Phenomena enigma
Jesus on E's (hmm should have left that one)
Mellow chips.rise
complex.real
complex.origin
sanity.world of commodore
sanity.interference
sanity.arte
 the black lotus.captured dreams
 virtual dreams.full moon
oxygene.vision
DeathTrial By Mankind (PPC)
Andromeda.nexus 7
 the black lotus.little nell
 Extension by Pygmy projects

I went over 20 but thats life :-)
I so wish they let us pick 50
