How do you like to following for a AmigaX module.

This is looking about 3 to 5 years down the road....so don't flame me for this.....thank you. :-D
Dual CPU module (1 IBM GX CPU and 1 Intel Vanderpool CPU
16 GB of DDRXXX RAM
800GB Hard Drive
100x DVD-RW
USB v#.#
Firewire
Gigabit Ethernet
GForce Video card with 32GB RAM and HDTV out
Sound Blaster Sound Card
3-Button Mouse
AmigaOS 5.0

Looks nice now but 3-5 years is a loooooong time in computer history so I wouldn't be surprised if 5 years from now this system would be mediocre at best.
If I’m correct 5 years ago the Pentium III was introduced, it ran at say 800Mhz tops ? Probably not even that.  Today we are over 3Ghz, as far as Pentiums go.
I would think other systems evolve at a similar rate.  I would like to see your system in a year or so, then we are rocking.

Huh?
 Why would the amount of system RAM be 1/2 that of the GFX card?
 Why would an Amiga need 16GB of RAM...unless you`re planning on it running Windows 2010 ?

100x DVD drive ? Remember what happens to CD`s when spun that fast?? Or is that your idea, kill all amiga users with DVD shrapnel.
Gigabit ethernet? pah.. I want terrabit networking :-D

The current path of increasing CPU speed and bandwidth is amazing, but unsustainable. Expect quite a temporary slowdown in the next few years as the computer world switches to 64 bit CPUs. Then, watch is spin away off again...

Who knows, maybe someone will be really smart and actually innovate, rather than just improve and evolve a single design only. But then again, probably not.

Nature made the dinosaurs bigger, strong and faster for tens of millions of years. Look what happened.
