Is it only me or does this sound a bit slutty to anyone else

I was trying hard not to say it first.

I think it's really good that they have decided to open up a little bit.

with all the silence and not knowing if they where still around and everything... it really made me think they had gone under.

To be honest, I can't even be bothered to read it.

As far as I'm concerned, after their record over the past three years, the only thing that comes out of Amiga Inc that I'll pay any attention to at all is product you can touch and buy. Anything else is likely to be a waste of bandwidth just like the vast majority of their statements in the past.

Wake me when something actually happens.

Exactly.

And I would never visit that site. Not after the recent events. Remember people - visiting that site means supporting it (as well as the actions taken by it's owners)!

As for the actual "answeres" from Fleecy (which I have not read because of the above reason), it looks like it is what most of us expected. The comments from people that have read it seems to range between "nothing new" to "a waste of bandwith".
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

May I ask what "recent events" you are referring to?

Doesn't "Whatever!" mean the same thing as "Get Lost!" in America?

"Whenever.. Wherever" Isn't that a shakira song?

Any CTO worth his job would certainly know that IE sucks and OPERA is the web browser to port. If you can't figure this out, you are doomed to failure.

Could you explain me what actions were taken by its owners and/or wich recent events lead you to have such a strong reaction against them?

You seems just one more that moans about everything that is Amiga Inc. related, you even moan about what others have said without looking out yourself, oh please...

And if I were you I would re think about what you had write in: "Remember people - visiting that site means supporting it (as well as the actions taken by it's owners)",  or do you really take ppl to be fools!?

I just don't see how one more amiga news site can be a bad thing... ohhh, only if it is because it isn't about MorphOS... These sites are naturally biased, so it is accepted that they are... biased, so... amiga sites can't be biased about... amiga, only MorphOS sites... ok I understand now

He had answered to what was asked "Will Amiga Inc. be negotiating with Microsoft to bring Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Media Player to OS4", nothing more nothing less, hadn't revelead anything about porting it over, and never was specific about what should be ported.

It's clearly said on answer 2 3 4 & 6

Well, the site owner appointed Mike Bouma as administrator, and Bouma was responsible for spreading the rumour that Wayne sold amiga.org to Genesi.

Then, of course, there's the fact that the site says it has a no-flaming policy but anti-MorphOS flamebait seems to be perfectly OK.

You're confusing an "Amiga" community site, with an "AmigaOS" community site. AmigaNews.net is the latter - and also doubles up as a free PR forum for Amiga Inc. - but definitely not the former. It does  however, falsely advertise itself as an "Amiga community" site.

Please, don't get ideas about a site purely because of the actions of one person.

When?  I've seen at least thread along the lines of "Anyone want to move to MorphOS?" and a while ago there was a poll to decide whether to add another forum for OSes like MorphOS and AROS.  32% said "Yes", so you cannot say that everyone there is an AmigaOS zealot.

Advertising?  Where?  Anyway, are you saying that we can have MorphOS only sites, but not AmigaOS only sites?  (It's not AmigaOS only anyway - there is some news and stuff about MorphOS).  As that poll showed, it is only mainly Amiga (in the narrower sense) because most visitors wanted that.  The webmaster offered to add a section for MorphOS, so you cannot claim he's biased!

Yeah, either that, or their assets coming up for sale after the bankruptcy.
