With all the failed deals that go through, it's amazing that amiga, inc still exists. They just keep battling on!

well, Nothing Earth shattering there. Didn't even nudge the table. Mostly, common sence and stuff that was already known.

To be honest, I can't even be bothered to read it.

As far as I'm concerned, after their record over the past three years, the only thing that comes out of Amiga Inc that I'll pay any attention to at all is product you can touch and buy.  Anything else is likely to be a waste of bandwidth just like the vast majority of their statements in the past.

Wake me when something actually happens.

you have to build up trust & stuff before you can hit with the harder questions.

Some can get away with asking some questions that others cant.

Nice to see someone mentioning SHEEP again!
I was starting to wonder if it was gathering dust on a shelf somewhere :)

I know that Python has been mentioned on the Yahoo AmigaOS list as a possible replacement to ARexx (which I support, Python is really nice language) , but it's an interpreted language and has a large run-time library from the implementations I've seen. SHEEP seems to be much more compact, seems to have a syntax a bit like Python, and (according to the last OSNews interview) is very fast. I really want to see SHEEP! (no, I sleep fine :) )

Darn it, I obviousy missed the first rush because right now I can't  access amigaworld.net. :-(

I guess it must be overloaded with people trying to read these Q's & A's.   :-?

Saying that I've found it a little slow in general - perhaps it's on a low bandwidth connection?
