Yep, luckily Bernd was able to terminate the distribution, as everyone here is witness to, weather Harald and H&P  recognises it or not. It's archived on Usenet, on webarchive.org etc, and we all saw it happen.

I want to be offended by the threat, but I just can't get over how STUPID the complaint is, it's hilarious! There isn't a lawyer in the world that wouldn't have his milk spraying out of his nose when Harald explains this complaint to him. Even an American lawyer :roflmao:

Legal action against reporting news?  

Amiga emulators: UAE, AIBB, Amiga Forever (tm), Amithlon (tm) and possibly another Amiga (tm) emulator.   Which one if any do you run?

A friend of mine bought a licensed copy of Amithlon.  He used it for a little while, then dumped it for Amiga Forever.  I bought a copy of Amiga Forever myself which I run under MS Windows XP (tm).

I run UAE on my Mac (JIT version) using OS X (10.2.4).

I don't need Amithlon...it's cool, but well, I'd rather spend my money on an AmigaONE G4 system.   I want AmigaOS 4.

Here's my offer to Harald Frank.  Two dollars and a six pack of Guinness for the source code and licensing for your product called Amithlon.  I want to donate whatever contributions were made to the Umilator sources so that product can continue in peace.

This is monstrous.  Unless he is stopped, probably by judicial authority, Harald Frank is going to continue threatening and abusing Amithlon users, Bernie's friends and supporters and potential Umilator partners.

Legal action is prohibitively expensive, but there may come a time when his behavior cannot be ignored.

I wonder if his past harassing actions amount to criminal violations in Germany, or what business oversight organizations (government or otherwise) could be effectively complained to.

I feel like I've met a small child sick with cancer, who turns out to be so obnoxious that I no longer want to offer comfort, but hope everyday to hear that it has died.  If you've followed this thing over the past year, you'll probably agree that it's THAT bad.
