Hmm..I wonder why Titan feel the need to contain their game releases in a very small niche. A WarpOS version of their game would work on MOS, OS4 and current PPC boards and would result in a lot more sales...

#1 Yeah, it makes you wonder.

It looks really nice, but it better work under OS4. I for one won't buy it if it doesn't. But I believe it will...
Kind Regards

SIGH

Why does this myth still persist?  I mean, I am not necessarily a MorphOS fan, but supposedly they are releasing a MorphOS enivornment for Macs....where the MorphOS environment is hidden from the user.

In plain english, you develop for morphOS you have developed a Mac version too.

=much bigger market than trying to support OS4.

addendum:
*Not saying that this game was developed in that manner*....just saying the concept of 'small market' and 'developing things twice' has been discussed before.

Why all the settlers type games coming out? some hardcore 3D games (excluding 90`s ports) would be a good move for MorphOS/OS4,

Fresh blood is NEEDED.

>A WarpOS version of their game

... is not possible. AlienNations needs a huge amount
of virtual memory which cannot be provided by
OS3.x. OS4 version is not possible as Titan isn't able
to get any developer information (same as for epic
and the others). So only a MorphOS version is
currently possible.

Oh well, if (when) Titan only sell 78 copies they'll know to try a change of strategy - or a change of platform.

Wave bye-bye to hundreds of OS4 user sales.

Better 78 than none.

No, I think none is less humiliating.

One, because MOS doesn't have 3D drivers yet; two, because Pegasos/A1 don't have the power to play a "modern" 3D shooter; and three, because 3D shooters are everywhere and everyone is even more bored of them than the Settler type games.

According to the requirements section, this game is for *AMIGA* and Pegasos. Looking forward to play it on my AmigaOne. :-)

Well, so much for "needs a huge amount
of virtual memory which cannot be provided by
OS3.x."

I see MOS misinformation again. :-D

In your eyes yes in business games sell hardware and people will go out and shell out money on hardware just to play x game,

Look at how many people buy x86 hardware just to play games, incredible,

Without killer games/programs the Amiga and MorphOS will just be aimed at the die hard Amigans.
