Nice building, Shame about the pub though  :-(

Why cant anyone do a show in the Midlands, The Motorcycle museum has a massive selection of halls where a computer show (Sort of thing) is held twice a week so it cant be to expensive...
Oh if I just had the time  ;-)

Anyhow looks great, I will be there with bells on.

Taken from the website.....

Whether  Alt-WoA 2003  takes place at all is currently being discussed.
Amiga and Hyperion have already agreed to attend and we only require an affirmative from Eyetech to start the ball rolling.

I`m sure that Eyetech will attend, so hopefully it will go ahead.

I think that the alt-woa shows are quite an important event in recent years and wouldn`t want to think there wouldn`t be one.

I did suggest them to post more info here and update their web page about these decision factors so people can see IF it'll happen or not.

I really hope the show will become reality again this year.
I had hoped to go there last year but didn't have the time. If I plan things a bit better this time it should be possible.
Would be nice to go to a real Amiga show again after all these years.

It's been quite some years since we had a decent show in Denmark!

I hope it does go on. I went to WOA-SE and had a great time! It was the first time I had ever been to an amiga show (I know the shame! ). I got there (with Nybbler) and we both looked at the main hall and kinda thought, how the hell are we going to strech this out to 5 hours, which was when I had told my lift to pick us up, but we had nothing to worry about, between talking to everyone, listening to the presentations and eating (and drinking ;-)) there was plenty! Plus we both ordered our A1's, which I will feel the financial pinch soon!

I would love to go up to this one, maybe find a place to stay over night, make a weekend out of it. It is a 4 hour drive from where I live!

Please please make it happen, I'll even buy the organisers a  :pint:  :-)

I have only been to one show, WOA 1994 wembley...great show, met up with some mates had a few drinks, bought some stuff, great!

But unfortunately the travelling was a nightmare, Glasgow - London (Euston) by train, then crushed in the underground....after the show, returned to Euston and had to sit around for a few hours for my train home. It was a LOOOONG day!

Uh.. In here.. closest shows have allways been 300km away from where I live. And some organizers have to travel 1200km (2*600) with their computers and other equipment...  I wonder how they manage from year to year..

(EDIT)

I almost forgot the most important..

They (alt woa team) stil think of it. It's a difficult decision and I understand that cause I have been on organizing meetings in this country.  So if you want to be there, please announce your interest to organizers...

I will hopefully go this year. I`ve only ever been to the London/ Essex ones. Though these ones are much closer to me.

@Nick I went to alt-WoA in 2001 by bus, its not that hard really and I doubt the location shift will make it that much more complicated. I know I will DEFFINATLY be attending, just someone tell me when so I can get saving my pennies :-)

DAMN! I really wanted to go there and flight tickets (Esbjerg - Stansted 25.04) where only 84 dkr :-(
