How do i get birdie to work? I#ve followed the instructions, but that doesn't seem to work.

I can't help you with this myself, but it will definitely help someone else to help you if you give some more details, like what kind of machine you are using, which version of the operating system, etc.

use birdie 2000 ..and explain what your problem was..., ie on startup it didnt patch etc..

I managed to get Birdie working for me yesterday! I followed this guide:

You can also use a GUI for Birdie, i never managed to get it to work properly. :-(

yep , but i dont use it anyway...eats too much chipmem (if on aga) or RTG mem (on p96 anyway...for now)

but sure...u can make it look pretty awesome.

lempkee, if you have WBCtrl installed then you can include this line in your startup-sequence, just before C:LoadWB:

C:WBCtrl IMT=ICONFAST

Then change C:LoadWB to C:LoadWB SIMPLEGELS. If using AGA, you can also use FBlit. I think that this makes Birdie use Fast Mem instead of Chip Mem. It seems to be working for me at the moment, i have 128meg fast mem! :-)
