Mediator Multimedia CD UP 1.21

The Mediator Multimedia CD UP 1.21 update for users of Mediator PCI 3/4000T,  Mediator PCI 4000D, Mediator PCI 4000Di, Mediator PCI 4000, Mediator PCI 3000D,  Mediator PCI 1200 SX, Mediator PCI 1200 and Mediator PCI ZIV, who are  registered owners of the Mediator Multimedia CD has been released today.

The update includes the new versions of:
ˇ sb128.audio
ˇ tv.library
ˇ FastEthernet.device

Changes were made as follows:

sb128.audio driver ver. 4.8
- AHIsub_GetAttr function corrected (necessary for Audio Evolution),

tv.library ver. 1.14
- activation of the S-Video input chroma decoder,

FastEthernet.device ver. 1.8
- initialization sequence corrected.

Good. i think that i'll buy a fast ethernet card. Now its support for mediator is very good implemented. :-)

This is not a troll, but these days i'm not sure if I trust elbox enough any more to install their drivers. They say they removed that code, but who knows what they might have replaced it with!? I have the last update sat in my YAM inbox, but I haven't installed it yet.

Im considering a mediator purchase, and if I do end up buying one I will write a RDB firewall which prevents any tasks created by the ELBOX drivers from using any system functions that would allow RDB baddies.  Two can play @ the hax0r game!

Any real amiga user would not support Elbox in any way.

Power Tower, E/Box Tower, Mirage, Fast ATA, Power Flyer, Mediator, accellerator card.....

Elbox is a great amiga company in my opinion. Without it i never upgrade my 1200.

If you don't like elbox, simply don't buy their product.

I agree with ikir. Not that I think hardware manufacturers should use this kind of anti-piracy methods, but Elbox has produced number of great addons for Amiga and update their drivers frequently.  I am a happy owner of Mirage tower and Mediator 4000.

Elbox are cowards and scum and i hope they go bust, and yes i will not buy their products just because of the RDB killer code or other hidden  goodies in their software, Their hardware is good for the Amiga but why should i/you support filth,

If this was any company outside the Amiga i bet all you people would be slagging them off but it is a Amiga company so lets all bang the bishop and turn a blind eye, you people call microsoft but they have NEVER used hidden codes which  main purpose is to take down the harddrive,
