Something for Everyone
« on: September 16, 2002, 09:18:31 PM »
In a new Amiga editorial for Suite101, John Chandler focusses on the Amiga solutions already available and what we can soon expect from Amiga Inc.

Among this are AmigaDE enabled Zaurus PDAs and smartphones, AA availability in mainstream shops and AmigaOS 4.0 scheduled for a pre-Christmas launch.

Coder as the new boot ROM is finished, I am sure you won't have to wait much longer. Of course some have their AmigaOne already.

You did order a developer board and not the consumer version, am I correct?

Not a bad one from John again. Nice to hear more and more people seem to think that OS4 is going to be released... Sorry, seem to think that OS is "looking good" for a Chirstmas release!!!

Also good to hear some positive news on the DE stuff. I know it's looked bad, but really, we havnt lost anything have we?

I'm not sure if that's why the images are there, unfortunately.

Hehe... their slogan: "Imagine tomorrow.."

Older ones from other companies:

Phase5:
Where do you want to be tomorrow ?

Microsoft:
Where do you want to go tomorrow ?

So now its not about actually going somewhere rather imagine going somewhere  8-)

Somehow fits perfectly with TheBrokenPromises(TM) that Amigans have experianced for a long time.

PS. I have nothing against TAO, their tech seems to
be good stuff. (If youre into that stuff)

Yes I agree, a slogan like:  "What would you like to do today?" would IMO be better. I imagine that people would like to do cool things earlier rather than  later.

The only problem for companies still developing their projects (or with yet unreleased products) would probably be fulfilling the promise or answer to the slogan.
