Site upgraded, please report any inconsistencies
« on: July 29, 2002, 08:44:36 PM »
The site has been upgraded to the latest available version.  We still have to change a few things back around, but please comment if you see anything out of place or a change you think you'd like to see

I noticed one thing, some replies on some posts moved, not in the order they was.

That's weird.  Care to elaborate?  All news stories are in order of the story_id, descending.  All forum posts should be similarly grouped by date.

odd, it must have been an error on my side... The error was on the "Amiga Anywhere : Sendo Z100 to ship with Amiga Anywhere" I replied to a post by 4play which was the second post there, i checked back a while after, and the post by 4play had moved to pretty much bottom while my post had moved up.

But i checked back now and it looks ok, so it must have been my browser that fuc**ed up  :-)

hmmm before clicking on a link within a forum or a news thread would open up a new browser window, now it doesnt.
I prefered the old way :)

Posts are now sorted backwards ("Newest first") by default. Is this to make more people register an account so they can make some sane settings themselves? ;-)

(Edit: I'm 100% sure I chose to disable smileys, yet I see a GIF abomination in this post!?)

Thanks for the feedback.  The post order should be back to Oldest First.

In regards to the disable smileys, that's apparently still a bug.
