:-) The way things are going (with Amithlon 2 and athe AmigaOne) this may end up being the first "Amiga" I'll own.;-)

On a more serious note, I pray that this is a roaring success (despite the "ugly microsoft" components) as a garanteed revinue stream will help bring the Amiga back more than anything else at the moment.

Regards
Darren

There is mention of Amiga on Sendos webpage: http://www.sendo.co.uk/news/newsitem.asp?ID=55

Eighth paragraph down.

I know it is a small mention but its there.

I understand from Bill's speech that the full scale press release that he read out at the show and now appears on Amiga Inc's site, Will soon appear on Sendo's website.

Makes you wonder what "well-known, vast Amiga entertainment catalogue" refers to.

I am begining to be more sceptic, There have been a lot of partner up until now, but almost all of them have backed down.
Maybe because amiga nevers shows anything.
or is amiga anywhere/DE just around the corner now ?

Learn to read, amiga is mentioned here: http://www.sendo.com/news/newsitem.asp?ID=55

Also Fathammer’s X-Forge™ 3D Game Engine, which allows games developers to produce very high-quality graphics games, is expected to be available. Last month, Sendo also licensed Tao’s Group intent ® multimedia Java platform, which opens the device up for Java J2ME MIDP compliant applications and titles from the well-known, vast Amiga entertainment catalogue. Amiga Anywhere enables applications to run on a broad range of processors or operating systems including Smartphone 2002 and Sendo’s Z100

"vast Amiga entertainment catalogue. Amiga Anywhere"

I don't know about 'vast' but there are over 20 titles in the following Amiga Anywhere Catalogue. Albeit, Mostly puzzle games.

There are quite a few more in development and are being added to the total.

I only hope that we have a more diverse choice. More arcade style titles are needed as that is what many people will associate with the Amiga name.

Well a solid UAE port to DE would certainly open up a 'vast' catalog of software. Then again if games are the focus, a Fellow port to DE would be more appropriate.

Although I really can't see pleasure in playing games on a cell phone! Tiny screen, microscopic buttons..eeew :-x

As an SDA developer myself, I can testify that this is, in fact, true.  There should be a whole bunch of stuff released in the near future.  There are all sorts of projects going on.  The SDA mailing list is far from quiet :-)
