Delfina lite sound card
« on: September 26, 2003, 08:08:56 PM »
People, i have a chance of getting a Delfina lite sound card for my A4000.
I would like to hear from users how good is it, compared to Tocatta and/or Prelude.
Is it worth it? How much would be a fair price to pay for the card?

Regards

It's a good card and the Delfinas are the only sound card on the Amiga market with a (mostly) working DSP.

Good price? Don't spend more than $150USD.
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

I think the Delfina is a good card because of the Motorola DSP.
It let you play mp3 without cpu load.
But the major drawback of this card is that it only support 48 kHZ sampling rate and other frequency has to be resampled to be played !

If you are about to pay as high as 150 uds try to get a delfina flipper edition. This card support 32,44.1 and 48 khz sampling rates.

But the Delfina lite is a very good card !
