Fleecy: No One Had Pre-Ordered OS4

On latest Q&A (Sept. 28, 2003), Fleecy Moss said:

What about the people who buy PartyPack or Coupon?
IIRC they had pre-ordered AmigaOne + OS 4.0.
The OS 4.0 come free/bundled with AmigaOne.
Does this mean the person who buy T-Shirt or
PartyPack had pre-ordered Amiga OS 4?

yes, if you read it in context, you will see that Fleecy doesn't classify the pre-orders of OS 4 as such, and separates them.

What he considers a pre-order of OS 4 is just purchasing OS 4, stand-alone, and waiting for the unfinished product to arrive.

To amiga dealer's credit, I don't know of anyone doing that specific thing.

To the rest of us, the party pack, the coupon deal, the purchase of an AmigaONE board with OS 4 included....all represent pre-orders of OS 4, because these are people who are owed a copy of OS 4, for which they have already paid for....yes, as part of a promotion.

ahhh, either way, its not news, or new....just a different way of wording the same issue.

Well .. nice ... yes .. but they don't have any choise.

They will _have_ to keep their promises because people payed for it ... myself included.

Me too.  They have $150 of my money ($100 Party Pack + $50 coupon thing).

I just took a peak at the things Hyperion and Eyetech have said over the past months. And none of them is going back on the promises made on AmigaOne and OS4. I do not like the situation on the t-shirts though. Its way over due.

Well .. what Amiga Inc does with their money is their concern ... not ours ... (at least not mine) ..

But i do expect to get what I paid for.
