I too am glad I waited to but a voucher, I odn't need or want or compelte sysytem.  I have so much bits and bobs around the house and besides my dad has got his own company building and repairing pee cee's so I can get the stuff I neeed chepa there.

Will a complete system include graphnics cards etc???

I would be willing to order a  coupoun if it is just for the mobo and OS4.  The thins is I will be buying the blizzard version of OS4 as well.

I'm sure Gary meant that the voucher can only be used when you buy certified hardware plus the OEM version of OS 4 (right now this means an AmigaOne plus OS 4)

Half the fun of the new A1 is going to be in the building and customisation of it.

After all if it is all a misunderstanding  then it is preventing sales of the coupon thus it is in their own interest to elaborate.

I think Amiga Inc. should finally decide what exactly do they want. Do they want to be a software only company? Do they want to have licensed hardware only? Or do they want to sell only AmigaOnes, Twos,... from Eyetech as complete systems (ram, hd, graphics, sound) like 1200s, 4000s, etc...

Their PR stinks.

It may just be an ordinary mistake. Yes it should be cleared up. But everyone should at least give Gary a break, especially considering he is just recovering from a heart attack.

Gary, if you read this. By all means take it easy, your health comes first beyond anything else, you must remember that. I'm often dealing with patients recovering from heart attacks as I work as a physical therapist. Dealing with the impatient Amiga community can take a toll on you. Recovering takes time, take one step at a time.

For the first time in a long while, I'll have to agree that this kinda bites.  I thought it was a $50.00 pre-pay which could be used toward purchase of an A1/OS4 (either full system or board/OS4 CD)  If it can only be used toward a full system, then I probably will not be doing it.
