PalmOS PDAs cheap,good candidate for AROS.

AROS is currently being ported to PalmOS. These PDAs are a perfect candidate!

how would you get AROS onto the ROM? Or would you run it on top of PalmOS?

I think they are making a hosted version that would run on top of PalmOS, like the Linux version.

Maybe one of our AROS members here can clarify :-)

Yeh that'd be good.  I'm used to coding in Codewarrior for Palm OS if they want an extra hand, but I'd imagine they aren't using Codewarrior...

The Palm uses a 68k compatible CPU... AROS does not run hosted upon PalmOS, but actually runs the device natively! If it were hosted, development would be much furthur down the line.

If AmigaOS wasn't so hardware dependant, it could run on the plam too.
