The AWeb Open Source programming team has produced its first releases:

AWeb 3.4 APL for AmigaOS 3.x 68030
AWeb 3.4 APL for AmigaOS 3.x 68040

These are preliminary versions for testing purposes. No updated plugins or
online-documentation is available right now.  However, these releases are compatible with current plugins already available.

Download them from http://aweb.sunsite.dk

Enjoy...

It may also be worth pointing out that an independent coder has
produced a version for MorphOS.

I would imagine that a version for AmigaOS4 will be available for the
commercial release.

do they have an organized agenda to follow in order to update the browser? what are the main points they are looking to improve in the short term? what about medium to long term?

I checked the home site but couldn't find their vision on how to proceed in order do upgrade it.

You know what they should have on their site?

They shoul have a page telling people you can help us if you can do this, this or that! I think it would encourage people to help if they actualy knew they could be of some assistance.

Then you could list the good things about being in this sort of project, for e.g giving the community a better browser, personal rewards, learning etc...

Not that ive tried hard, but i couldnt get it to run. Prolly something to do with using OS3.1? Need 3.9?
