New Clickboom S files
« on: May 07, 2002, 05:23:16 PM »
Check out the new Clickboom S file.

"I have 5 games to announce! But, not all of them at once. And before I do, I would like to remind any interested programmers, that it is because of these five games that we are looking for another Amiga/PC programmer who would be able to help with development of our other Amiga titles (N2,Z)."

Wow, a new record for flaming new software. Its just been announced and already you're calling it bad?

How do you know its a bad game, huh? It's totally original, so there's absolutely no chance you've played it before or even know the slightest thing about it, apart from its name.

1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

I would have to say i think this game looks absolutly fantastic. I have not experiances any clickboom games/ports but i assume they are of high quality. So this fasinates me, if they can sell quite a lot of these on the PC (and Amiga) they'll be able pump a lot of more money into games.

Its also good to hear that you'll have some original software (games) come out for AmigaOS4 PPC. I trust the game will be a big seller (not as big as quake, although i cross my fingers) on the PC and in terms of game sales, prolly HUGE on the AmigaOS :).

I look forward to screen shots and reviews :) - however thats no dobut ages away!

Well it is an acceptable title but they really didn't tell us anything about the game.  Is it a first person shooter/sword swinger?  Is it something like Diablo's top down look?  Is it a strategy game (not likely)?  All we have is a title and the promise of it coming some day in the future.  Don't get me wrong, that is a good thing.  I just can't make any decision on whether the game will be good or bad on what they told me.

Woe to you, oh earth and sea, for the devil sends the beast
with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the
beast for it is a human number, its number is six hundred
and sixty six.

and just what does that mean

Its the first part of Iron Maidens "The Number Of The Beast"

.....
666 the number of the beast
Hell and fire was spawned to be release
